Brake Service
Over time, brake fluid can become contaminated, which can lead to early failure of brake components. Moisture absorbed by the brake fluid causes brakes to feel soft, spongy, or not work properly. Instead of simply bleeding the brakes, this service replaces the entire system with new brake fluid and can be performed by one person in half the time of the bleeding procedure. This service helps prevent sluggish brake response and extend the life of brake components.
Cooling System Service
The cooling system removes excess heat from the engine. Approximately, one third of the heat generated from fuel combustion is dissipated through the cooling system. Over time, antifreeze/coolants lose their protective quality, allowing corrosive deposits to form. Scale and deposits on the walls of the cooling system can reduce the transfer of engine heat to the coolant, causing the engine to overheat. This can lead to cooling system failure and expensive repairs. A Cooling System Service using Valvoline™ Professional Series Cooling System products provides additional protection from engine overheating by using advanced detergents to thoroughly clean the radiator. Additional sealers are added to help to prevent leaks.
Engine Oil Service
Oil plays a major role in keeping the engine lubricated to ensure that all parts are able to move properly. Over time, an engine can acquire build-up that restricts the contact and flow of oil. When oil is unable to get to all of the engine parts, it results in wear leading to poor engine performance. Performing an oil system service will remove the buildup and clean the engine. Taking a proactive approach to an engine’s maintenance can slow down the aging process and prolong the life and efficiency of a vehicle. With extended oil change intervals, tighter tolerance of modern engine design and today’s severe driving conditions being the “norm,” many vehicles are at risk of sludge formation. Gasoline Fuel System Service
Deposits in the fuel system reduce fuel economy, impair drivability, and interfere with the proper operation of an engine. These deposits are a by-product of the combustion process and need to be removed on a regular basis. Power Steering Service
Thermal cycling, extreme heat and pressure from everyday driving can break down the performance of the power steering fluid, leading to increased wear throughout the power steering system – including the pump, valves, gears, and seals. Common symptoms include stiff steering (typically during a cold morning start), soft-response or “play” in the steering wheel and whining noises or squealing (typically heard between idle & 2,000 rpms). Transmission Service
Many transmission failures are due to overheating and fluid degradation. Conventional transmission services remove only a portion of the degraded fluid from the system. These deposits reduce the ability of the fluid to cool properly, leading to further breakdown, overheating and ultimately transmission failure. Differential/Driveline Service
Differentials deliver the power from the transmission to the wheels. Extreme high operating temperatures can cause thermal breakdown of the differential fluid, leading to a loss of lubrication and deposit formation. This can cause gears to wear while leaving behind metal shavings and other debris. Valvoline Professional Series products for Differential and Transfer Case Services are thermally stable and help remove deposits – while working to keep new ones from forming.
